SimilaritiesIn any Genocide the oppressed people are forced against their will to succumb to another power. In the both the Bosnian Genocide and the Holocaust, a specific group of people was targeted and both were seen as a threat to the well being of others. In Elie's case this group was the Jews, and for Nedzad this was his ethnic group. In both exterminations a devastating amount of people died. Also Elie and Nedzad were forced out of their homes and taken to new place where they could be killed.
